Original Sound for Echo Cancellation and Voice Optimization

Many applications process incoming audio and remove the echo of the speaker. This is useful for voice, but often affects music. The effect is often called cancellation and can cause issues such as lower volume and sound distortion. These issues are sometimes present on devices such as Google Home, Google Pixel, and other home devices. For these devices, you can use the Original Sound extension to get better sound quality.

To use the Original Sound extension, you need to have Google Home, Google Pixel, or Google Assistant installed. You will be presented with a dialogue that allows you to make the adjustments you want. The adjustment dialog provides an option for Echo cancellation and a box that allows you to choose between Voice Optimization and Audio Processing.
